Payton Howie Releases Music Video for Her Single “Jail and Jesus”- Look Familiar?
Twenty-year-old rising country artist Payton Howie shot her newest music video in Nashville, TN. Following the stories penned in the lyrics of “Jail and Jesus,” she needed a place to film ‘behind bars.’ The Jail at Warren Studios served as the perfect backdrop for her music video, but she’s not the first artist to use this spot. The same ‘jail’ is where Morgan Wallen shot the cover of his double-album “Dangerous.”
The exact spot where Morgan posed is where the drummer in Payton’s video is seen playing in the band. You can see the familiar tattered brick wall and barred window in the background as Payton sings the final verse of the song.
Using the same spot for content creation isn’t the only thing Payton and Morgan have in common, though. Payton Howie is on her way to being the next ‘All American’ female country artist. Her single “Never Go Home” has over 1 million streams on Spotify, and is extremely popular on Texas radio. Just as Morgan Wallen stole the hearts of America when he was twenty-years old, Payton is becoming an American favorite. Keep up with what she does next on social media @paytonhowiemusic!
