BLACKPINK Returns with pre-release single, “Pink Venom”, giving the industry a bite of what to come on their highly-anticipated comeback album, ‘BORN PINK’ Two years since their last release in 2020, ‘THE ALBUM’ K-Pop Girl-Group BLACKPINK has left quite the impression on each branch of the entertainment industry. Between the four members: Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa have become the first all-female K-Pop group to win an MTV Video Music Award, be the most subscribed to Artist on YouTube (yes, passing Justin Bieber), and become known as ambassador’s for luxury fashion brands such as Celine, Chanel, Saint Laurent and Dior. And with the release of ‘Pink Venom’, the list of their achievements has only grown. Having the biggest music video debut of the year so far, in addition to debuting at No.1 on Billboard’s Hot Trending Songs Chart, it’s important to remember that this reaction is just for their pre-release. The eyes on their full album comeback, ‘BORN PINK’ was even more overwhelming. Before their short hiatus, BLACKPINK became a household name in the music industry, adopting listeners from every genre. One thing has been proven, and that is these female powerhouses will always catch the attention of the charts and music-listeners everywhere, no matter how long it’s been. Produced by Teddy (real name: Teddy Park), who has been with the girls since their debut, this single reintroduces the sound everyone fell in love with four-years ago, elevating it to highlight their growth as women and personalities. With the chant-like intro alone, the control they have on the industry is featured and emphasized, as audiences were quick to spread the tune and make it viral across multiple platforms. In addition to this release, their world tour was announced, selling out in a matter of minutes as fans once again begged for larger venues. BLACKPINK’s return to the K-Pop and Global Music Industry has been one unlike any other and has set them apart from other acts in more ways than ever before.
