2018: The Comeback Year for Carrie Underwood
After Carrie Underwood had a freak accident fall just after the CMA Awards in November, she has been noticeably absent from the spotlight. Occasionally updating fans, Underwood shared on social media that she had broken her wrist shortly after in addition to sustaining some pretty gruesome scratches and bruises, and an injury that left her face with over 40 stitches.
Shortly after the incident, fans got a peak as to what Underwood looked like when Bravo’s Below Deckcast member Adrienne Gang shared a photo of the two running into each other. Gang said she had “no clue” that underwood was inured until she saw the headlines after he photo went viral.
Since, Underwood has been out of the spotlight, and now we know why. She is on the cusp of releasing new music! In a letter to her friends released April 10, Underwood made sure to address that during this time off, she has been working on new music and spending time with family.
