Nashville Fashion Week 2016

The week the Nashville fashion industry has been waiting for all year, is finally here! Nashville Fashion Week just announced three nights of runway shows. The sixth annual five-day event will kick off Tuesday, April 5 with the East Meets West Designer Runway Show at Studio 615 in East Nashville and close on Saturday night with the third annual Fashion Forward Gala at OZ Nashville on the west side of the city.

The designers to look out for this week are Truly Alvarenga, Ashley Balding, Roxen and Amanda Valentine, and new designers, Andrew Clancey and Kimberly Parker. Michael Drummond, Danielle Kallmeyer, Francesca Marotta and Afriyie Poku will join Nashville Fashion Week veterans Brooke Atwood, Megan Huntz and Lagi Nadeau.

The best part of all the excitement of Nashville Fashion Week is that all proceeds from the events benefit the Nashville Fashion Forward Fund of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, an endowed fund established to support the next generation of fashion industry professionals with ties to Middle Tennessee by providing a financial award and resources for experiential professional development opportunities.
