Carrie Underwood's Island Getaway

Carrie Underwood and her husband Mike Fisher just got back from what looks like an amazing little getaway to the Turks and Caicos Islands. Furthermore, I know where they stayed, what they did and what they read.

Before social media, you might occasionally hear that a celebrity went on a vacation. But after Twitter, you can get actual details. Honestly, I didn't mean to find out so much about their getaway, but they both shared some behind-the-scenes details on their social networking pages. Fisher posted a photo of the book he was reading (Bob Goff's Love Does, calling it "great vacay reading material"). And he also tweeted a picture of him and Underwood on the beach, looking tan and blissful. "Amazing vacay in Turks and Caicos at Parrot Cay! Very relaxing time we both needed," he wrote. Then again, from the short slow-motion videos Underwood posted, it doesn't look like relaxing was all they were doing. She posted one of herself jumping off some kind of rocks on to the white sandy beach. Her caption was "Bad landing." Then she tweeted one of Fisher making the same exact leap, with the caption "Good landing." What a nice wife. The couple stayed at Parrot Cay, a resort island in the northern Caribbean, about a half-hour boat ride from the Turks and Caicos airport in Providenciales. Photo Credit: CMT.com
