The Taylor Swift Style Countdown
You already know how timeless Taylor Swift looks every time she steps onto a red carpet. But what about the designers who dress her? What do theythink of how she looks?
In the August issue of InStyle magazine, the response is unanimous. They all concur. Swift just doesn't have it in her to have what she calls "cringe-worthy moments" when she looks back at her styles throughout the years. And in the photo gallery countdown of "Her 10 Best Ever," InStyle has comments from the designers themselves. Like Carolina Herrera, who created the red and black color-block strapless gown Swift wore to the Golden Globes this year. "You can tell Taylor loves fashion," Herrera said. That was the magazine's favorite look of Swift's. But mine was No. 9 on their list. The lacy champagne gown with a deep V-neck -- covered with red sequin-and-bead flowers -- by Jenny Packham. Swift wore it at the CMA Awards in 2012. "Taylor does Old Hollywood glamour so well," Packham said. Then there was that deep purple taffeta Donna Karan Atelier backless number Swift wore for the 2013 Golden Globes. "No matter what she wears, you see her first," Karan said of Swift. And when Swift wears a very mini mini-dress, she does it with class. And that's exactly what she did at the Victoria's Secret runway show in 2013 by keeping the neck high and the sleeves long on the black floral Zuhair Murad dress she paired with sexy ankle strap peep toe pumps. "We didn't make a single alteration to it," Murad recalled of dressing Swift for the event.
