The Beret: Falls Most Underrated Accessory
I still remember the day I bought my first beret while studying abroad my senior year of high school in Florence, Italy. It can be a bold move for someone used to wearing your average beanie. The soft, round, flat-rounded accessory dresses up any look. As Who What Wear states, "just like any-of-the-moment trend, all it really takes to pull it off is an outfit you feel great in and a whole lot of confidence". Here I am pictured below in the middle rocking my violet beret while ice skating at Fountain Square in Downtown Cincinnati just after returning from Italy & Greece January of 2014.

There's no doubt that the beret was Paris Fashion Week's most on brand trend. Pictured below, Bella Hadid was seen out in Paris during Paris Fashion Week 2017.

The best part about the beret is its versatility. It can be worn fluffed on top of your head or low on the back of your crown similar to a beanie. So, what are you waiting for? Grab your PSL and go strut your stuff in your new beret!
