Vintage Hairstyles: Easy Tips
NStyle Country has noticed an increase of obsessions in anything vintage, not only in music, but also in fashion. At any carpet event, there is always a celebrity rocking a retro-inspired look from the 40's, 50's, 60's, or even 70's. Some artists who always rock the retro look are Adele, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Katherine Heigl, and more!
It is easy for you to rock a vintage look too on any occasion, especially with an awesome hairstyle. A retro hairstyle can make the whole ensemble vintage. Here are simple tips to help complete your look from another era:
Tip 1: If you are looking for a 40's or 50's look, simply curl your hair and pin various curls to look something like the first picture below.
Tip 2: You can also use hot iron curls to get this first look, or brush out the curls to achieve a 60's or 70's look in the second picture. Use hairspray!
Tip 3: To get the 1960's hairstyle volume, tease the roots of your hair, leaving out some smooth pieces of hair in the front. After teasing, pull the smooth pieces of hair over the teased part to achieve this look!
